The Hastelloy is an improved alloy for use in a range of aggressive media. These C22 grade has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking mostly for the harsh chemicals like chlorides, sulfides and other harsh chemicals. These are practically immune to SCC stress corrosion cracking. Hastelloy C22 Sheet & Plate has superior weldability so common filler welds are use to join these sheets and plates. These sheets and plates are rolled out from hot and cold working process. Hastelloy C22 Sheet & Plate is treated with heat treatment or annealing process to get more hardenability. Processing with surface finishing imparts dimensional errors and uncertain surfaces.

Furthermore, this product is coated by SATIN and bright black polish that provides extra resistance to corrosion. These also resist distortion due to impact loads.
